Farm Street Mission-Retreat

There is a month long mission-retreat at Farm Street every evening in July, given by Fr John Edwards SJ. Each evening there is Mass at 6pm followed by a Mission Service with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, a sermon which will cover different topics of faith (“The Instruction”), practical helps to prayer (“The Way of Praying”), and Benediction at about 7:15pm. The following is from the Farm Street Website:
There will be opportunity for confession before Mass and after the service. Participants may depart at any time and may attend as many evenings as they like. Each evening will stand alone. The month will conclude with a celebration of the Feast of St Ignatius on Tuesday 31st July at 6pm with a sung Mass (with instrumentalists joining the choir), and with Fr Provincial Michael Holman, SJ celebrant. At this Mass, Fr Paul O'Reilly SJ, who often helps with our week-end Masses, will take his final vows. All friends of Farm Street Church and particularly all alumni/ae of Jesuit schools are cordially invited to the Mass and reception in the Hall.
Fr John Edwards is an excellent preacher and I warmly recommend this Mission to anyone living or working in London.
